I am delighted to welcome you all to St. John Girls’ Primary School website, which offers a wealth of information about our vision for the future, flourishing developments taking shape at our school and many successes and achievements of our students.
We are proud of our team of dedicated staff who provide an inspiring, structured and supportive learning environment, in which every girl child is challenged to realise her full potential and encouraged to be ambitious for the futures.
We have high expectations for our students and expect them to come to school prepared to learn and start an Integral Education for a girl child.
St. John Girls’ Primary School looks forward to an exciting and promising future, with improving exam results, extensive opportunities for students to join government secondary schools.

who we are
St. John Girls’ Primary School is a Catholic Private Primary School which caters for standards 5 to 8. This Primary School, aims at supporting Girls’ Education through the establishment of a Girls’ Boarding School which among its subjects includes a major component of skills development. At the moment, Computer Lessons are offered to all the girls at our school. This is a great opportunity for our girls to take computer lessons already at an early age in Primary School
what we do
As part of our charity work to our mother Malawi, we have a certain number of girls who, unfortunately, have various family problems (they are orphans or have difficult family situations or are especially poor) who are offered a chance and a place to join our Primary and Secondary Schools. The girls are able to study in favorable surroundings and without many distractions to which young girls are prone as we struggle to assure that a Girl Child Education is achieved at all cost.
The overall objective of the project is to contribute towards accelerating efforts to advance the education of girls and eradicate the rate of girls’ drop out from school.
